Abstract

The discussion around reforms in education is the main trend of both specialized scientific journals and mass media. The relevance of this topic is clear: society is interested in the education system educating the younger generation in such a way that it is able to respond to external and internal challenges. Much of this discussion depends on the initial assumptions from which the study begins. The article discusses the problem of finding adequate methodological principles with which to assess the general state of the Russian education system.
