Abstract

This article discusses modeling as a method of using modern educational technologies for the study of the world around us. The aim of the research is to comprehensively consider, identify, theoretically justify, and test the methodology of using computer technologies as a way to develop algorithmic thinking among students of a pedagogical university. We have identified educational technology platforms for modeling the motion of objects. Examples and steps for completing tasks are provided, demonstrating the practical use of computer modeling in the classroom.
