CONTINUING TRAINING COURSES FOR TEACHERS WORKING WITH BILINGUAL STUDENTS: PROBLEM AREAS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the problems of additional professional education as one of the necessary links of continuing education. The analysis of the professional development work of teachers working with bilingual students in teaching Russian as a foreign language and as a non-native language shows the formation and lack of certain competencies, the lack of a holistic systematic methodological «baggage» of knowledge, outdated content of many practices and forms. The article suggests not only the reconstruction of «problem areas» in Russian language teaching, but also certain innovative approaches to solving existing problems.
