Abstract

This article focuses on the study of language and graphic means used in drawing the image of a teenager with autistic disorder in Mark Haddon’s novel “Curious incident of the dog in the night time”. The research presents the notions of character and speech characterization and reveals the connection between a unique mind of the character and the language means carefully selected for its representation. The principles of creolized text organization are discussed to describe the graphic means of character drawing.
