Abstract

The education system is the subject of many sciences. One of the directions of such research is connected with the philosophy of education, which formulates the most general patterns observed in this area of human activity. The authors of the article investigate one of the important problems of modern education - the motivation of people in the process of getting an education. It is emphasized that in an open democratic society there are no formal obstacles to education, but despite this, some young people do not show much interest in scientific knowledge.
