Abstract

The article examines the role of Open Education Centers in promoting the Russian language abroad. The purpose of the work is to determine the specifics of the organization of training and describe the basic principles of forming the content of training in Open Education Centers. Using the example of the work of the Open Education Centers opened in AltSPU in 2023 in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Republic of Tajikistan, factors influencing the selection of educational content for the target audience in each country are considered. As a result, it was concluded that the content of education in Open Education Centers must be formed taking into account the target audience, linguistic and geopolitical situation.
