SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN ART: THEATER STUDIO «THEATER WITHOUT BORDERS» FOR CHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

Theater Without Borders is an inclusive theater studio for children with intellectual disabilities. Its goal is to create conditions for opening up the creative potential of participants, developing their communication skills and integrating them into the cultural space of the forum. Within the framework of the studio's work, a safe and supportive environment is formed, where the concept of «impossible» is excluded. Each lesson, rehearsal, and performance is considered as a step aimed at building self-confidence and getting satisfaction from the process of self-expression of the participants of the competition. Parents, watching their children's progress, receive support and understanding from the staff of the studio. This contributes to their involvement in the development and socialization of the child, as well as encourages the exchange of experience and knowledge between families.References
