The prerequisites for the application of project technology for the development of communicative and speech competence of a future physical education teacher have been identified and analyzed. The historical characteristics of the emergence of design technology and its role in modern conditions are given. A theoretical justification is given and the process of developing a model for the development of the communicative and speech competence of a future physical education teacher is described, which, according to the author, serves as a necessary methodological basis for the upcoming experimental work on the introduction of project technology into pedagogical practice.References
