LEARNING FOR READING IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE: REVIEW OF BASIC APPROACHES AND METHODS

The paper presents the analyses of reading skills’ teaching in a foreign language. The criteria of texts’ choice are considered, the description of interactive methods aimed at their better understanding are discussed. Various types of tasks, including lexis and grammar exercises, as well as creative assignments, providing control over the process of students’ reading comprehension are introduced.References
