The article examines the psychological characteristics of junior schoolchildren with learning difficulties. The novelty of the research lies in the study of the problem of teaching junior schoolchildren through the prism of the cognitive sphere and emotional intelligence of children. It is shown that junior schoolchildren with learning problems have a low level of intellectual development, concentration of attention and emotional intelligence.References
