Abstract

The article describes the designing of an electronic course with a gamified scenario for teaching foreign language vocabulary and grammar (Latin medical terminology) and its integration into the educational process, which is especially relevant for maintaining students’ permanent interest and involvement into studying and motivates students to continued knowledge acquiring and necessary skills development. The course consists of modules-levels, which include various tasks to master, develop and test the progress. Knowledge is assessed by a step-by-step control system allowing to proceed from task to task, from level to level only if students have successfully mastered the material, or going back to the previous tasks, if the knowledge level is insufficient to go further.
