STRATEGY AND TACTICS OF COMBINING DISCIPLINES FOR LINGUISTIC RESEARCH

Abstract

The article considers modern linguistics as a science connected with other disciplines. The main factors prompting globalization mentioned in the article include “discursive turn” in linguistic research, globalization, technological progress.  Interdisciplinarity in linguistics is illustrated by presenting the basic directions in research of political communication.
