STRUCTURAL AND SEMANTIC FEATURES OF STREAM OF CONSCIOUNESS AS A MEANS OF REALIZATION OF INTRAPERSONAL COMMUNICATION (CASE STUDY OF ENGLISH FICTION)

Abstract

Abstract: This article is devoted to the identification and analysis of different forms and structural and semantic features of stream of consciouness, based on the English fiction samples. In the structure of a fiction text inner speech can be expressed by means of an inner monologue. An extreme case of inner monologue, according to some scholars, is stream of consciousness. However, other researchers consider stream of consciousness as a separate, independent phenomenon.
