Abstract. The paper presents a program for studying pragmatically oriented digital discourses in connection with neo-rhetorical and digital competencies of the subject of speech activity. The article highlights the linguistic and rhetorical features of the new texture of speech activity - non-oral and non-written electronic discourse. Thematic spheres of the new rhetoric of the digital age are presented in close connection with the goals of the speaker in each thematic discourse. The modern stage of rhetoric functions in the conditions of the information revolution and digital society.
