THE FEATURES OF THE USE OF SPEECH MANIPULATION TOOLS (BASED ON THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PRESS)

Abstract

Abstract. This paper is devoted to the study of such a phenomenon as speech manipulation. The aim of the study is to identify and analyze the use of different tactics, techniques and tools that can be used in the English language press to realize manipulative influence on readers. Thus, due to the analysis of the selected articles, we identify which techniques and tools are used to implement such tactics as juggling with facts, influencing readers' emotions and feelings and violating the basic laws of logical thinking.
