FEATURES OF SCHOOLCHILDREN’S PATRIOTIC EDUCATION IN THE PROCESS OF WORKING WITH FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEXTS AT THE SECONDARY SCHOOL

Abstract

Abstract. The article discusses the problems of schoolchildren’s patriotic education in grades 5-9 at the foreign language lesson. The work analyzes the role, place and specificity of the text material used at the foreign language lesson for schoolchildren of the secondary school. An attempt is made to reassemble the texts of «Spotlight» for the secondary school from the patriotic orientation point of view and to identify reserves for effective patriotic education at the foreign language lessons.
