ENRICHING THE RESEARCH COMPETENCE OF PROSPECTIVE EDUCATORS VIA ACADEMIC WRITING

Abstract: Scientific writing is an essential element in the education of individuals within the contemporary educational environment. This study aims to assess the research proficiency and academic writing abilities of prospective instructors. A modified multiple-choice questionnaire was sent to 397 prospective teachers using Google Forms, an online survey platform. The survey data was statistically analyzed with the use of descriptive statistics. The study's results reveal that a significant number of prospective instructors have knowledge and comprehension of research competency and academic writing.Downloads
