UNIFICATION OF REGISTRATION OF THE SPECIAL DEPORTEES IN SIBERIA IN THE LATE 1940s

The article is devoted to the standardisation of registration of deportees in the late 1940s. The author analyses the results of the 1949 All-Union Census of Exiles, which led to the replenishment of special files, formalisation of registration of the records on exiles and systematisation of special commandant’s offices. It is concluded that registration and statistical measures have led to the unification of exile as a regime system.References
