This article is devoted to the main aspects of the formation of country-specific competence among foreign students of the preparatory department, which were formulated based on the results of the study. The work contains a program and research results that determine the features of the formation of this competence and confirm the need for its formation. The study was conducted on the basis of the Preparatory Department of the Amur State University. As part of the study, testing and questioning of foreign students of the preparatory department, as well as an expert survey of teachers of the preparatory department were conducted.References
