FROM MEDIA LITERACY TO INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION SECURITY OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

The authors focus on developing the individual information security skills of higher education students due to the intensification of students’ interaction with different types and forms of fake content. The paper theoretically substantiates the developed pedagogical technology and presents educational and methodical developments. The authors present the design and results of testing (Module 1,2 of the technology) with the participation of undergraduate students at the Siberian Institute of Management RANEPA (N = 147), The testing was conducted as a comprehensive verification based on the authors’ classification criteria, selected set of technical means, and recommendations for identifying cognitive distortions.References
